Holly Currah

Born in Stratford, Ontario, Holly had the opportunity to live in, and travel throughout many beautiful areas of Canada and the world before settling in the Quinte region.

"Being exposed to new environments and people is a constant joy and inspiration for me. I love experiencing nature and meeting new people. The joy and passion I feel from the beauty around me is often expressed in my art.

Sometimes it’s the playfulness I find with a friend, or the courage I see expressed in the many incredible people I have met over the years that inspires my art. Other times, it is the pure, peaceful presence of nature that elicits the response.

I create abstracts and work with a variety of mixed-media materials, including acrylic on canvas and watercolour on paper.

I really am expressing my true inner self and everything I feel and love. It’s me you are seeing in my art. I hope you enjoy it."
